Montenegro packs an extraordinary variety of landscapes into a small country: the fjord-like Bay of Kotor, the limestone massifs of Lovćen and Orjen, the lakes and plateaus of Durmitor and the wide waters of Skadar Lake. Much of this terrain is crossed by old gravel roads and forest tracks that are perfect for exploring by quad (ATV) or buggy, far from the busy coastal roads.
All our tours are guided by local riders who know the routes, the history and the best viewpoints. You can choose a quad or a buggy, and the pace is always adjusted to the least experienced rider. Drivers need to be at least 18 with a valid car driving licence; passengers do not need a licence.
If you are staying on the coast in Kotor, Tivat, Budva or Herceg Novi, the tours around Boka Bay are the easiest to reach and combine sea views with Austro-Hungarian forts and stone villages. For mountain scenery and cooler air, the northern regions around Durmitor and Bjelasica are the natural choice once they open. Not sure where to start?
