The Luštica Forts Quad & Buggy Tour is made for history lovers. The Luštica peninsula closes the Bay of Kotor from the south and is one of the wildest parts of the Montenegrin coast: olive groves, small stone villages, a rugged shoreline and a remarkable military history.
The route climbs to Obosnik, the highest peak of the peninsula, with views over the whole of Boka and the open sea. From there the Luštica tours split. This one is for fort lovers: it continues to three Austro-Hungarian fortifications, Fort Kabala, Fort Luštica and Fort Arza, which stands on the tip of the peninsula and guards the entrance to the Bay of Kotor.
Along the way there is time to explore the forts with your guide and to stop at the best viewpoints. Plan 4 to 5 hours. If you are more interested in the former navy submarine tunnel, choose the Luštica Submarine Tunnel & Fort Kabala tour.
Times are approximate. The pace, the stops and the exact route are adjusted to the group and the conditions on the day.
