The Bjelasica Peaks Quad Safari is a real mountain adventure in the north of Montenegro. By ATV quad you ride from Kolašin up to the high plateaus of Bjelasica, a perfect mix of adrenaline, untouched nature, mountain tracks and wide panoramic viewpoints.
The first part of the route leads to Kolašin 1600, a modern mountain resort and the gateway to the higher areas of Bjelasica. Gravel mountain roads then take you to Eko katun Vranjak, an authentic highland settlement where you stop for photos and learn about the traditional way of life on the mountain, and on to the Kordelj viewpoint, one of the most beautiful on Bjelasica, with views of Komovi, Prokletije, Sinjajevina and endless mountain ranges.
The highlight is the area of Zekova glava, at 2,119 m the second highest peak of Bjelasica, with views of Crna glava (2,139 m), the highest peak, and Pešića jezero, one of the most beautiful glacial lakes in Montenegro. On the way you also enjoy panoramic views of Biogradska gora National Park and Biogradsko jezero, set in one of the last primeval forests in Europe. After the tour, a traditional mountain lunch can be organised on request.
Times are approximate. The pace, the stops and the exact route are adjusted to the group and to the weather and trail conditions on the day.
