All our guided buggy tours in one place, from 1-hour rides on Lovćen to full-day adventures around the Bay of Kotor.
One of the most beautiful panoramic routes above Boka Bay, along the ridge that separates the bays of Kotor and Tivat up to Sveti Ilija, the highest point of Vrmac. Forest sections, old military roads and viewpoints over Kotor, Tivat, Luštica and the open sea, at a relaxed pace with plenty of photo stops.
An evening ride up Vrmac to the Sveti Ilija viewpoint and a hidden forest viewpoint above Kotor, with the illuminated walls of the Old Town below you. A 2.5-hour ride focused on the views, without fortress visits.
A buggy ride for two with a professional driver to a hidden viewpoint above Kotor Old Town, where a bottle of prosecco is served while you take in the view. No fortress visits, just the two of you and the bay.
Ride forest tracks to Fort Goražda, one of the best-preserved Austro-Hungarian forts above Kotor, built in the late 19th century. See its massive stone walls, dry moat, underground rooms and the famous rotating armoured turret, with views over Tivat Bay and Mount Lovćen.
Climb through olive groves and the famous Stoliv chestnut forest to Gornji Stoliv, an old stone village opposite Perast. Because of a very steep climb, this tour runs only by buggy with a professional driver.
Ride over Obosnik, the highest peak of Luštica, to three Austro-Hungarian forts: Kabala, Luštica and Arza, which guards the entrance to the Bay of Kotor. Stone walls, old gun positions and wide views of the open sea.
Over Obosnik peak to a former Yugoslav navy submarine tunnel cut into the Luštica coast, then on to the Austro-Hungarian Fort Kabala. Military history, clear sea and wide views of the entrance to the bay.
Old Austro-Hungarian roads climb through forest and karst above Perast and Risan to the fort on Vranovo Brdo, with views of the Perast islands and the Verige strait. A 100+ km full-day route, available on request only.
Two hours on scenic mountain roads above the Budva Riviera, with breathtaking sea views, a stop at Ploče Beach, a short drink break at Carević Restaurant and a visit to the peaceful St. George Church. The perfect first quad or buggy adventure near Budva.
Our longest ride from Budva: four hours through the areas of Budva, Tivat and Kotor. Stop at Carević Restaurant, relax or swim in the seaside village of Bigova, ride on to the Luštica peninsula and finish at Fort Goražda, with incredible views over the whole bay.
Leave the asphalt behind for 20 km of forest tracks, gravel roads and rocky karst on the slopes of Mount Lovćen. Shaded beech forest, mountain air and a real off-road feeling in just over an hour, the perfect short adventure between Kotor and Cetinje.
Ride the mountain road up to Jezerski vrh (1,657 m) and visit the Mausoleum of Petar II Petrović Njegoš, the poet and prince-bishop of Montenegro. Climb the 461 steps to the top while your guide waits, and enjoy one of the widest panoramas in the country.
A short and easy ride through Njeguši, the stone village on the Lovćen plateau known for its prosciutto and cheese and as the birthplace of the Petrović dynasty. Stone houses, dry-stone walls, mountain pastures and a beautiful panoramic viewpoint, all in one hour.
A buggy safari is one of the best ways to see the wild side of Montenegro. In a side-by-side buggy you sit next to each other with seat belts and a steering wheel, and follow a local guide along old Austro-Hungarian military roads, forest tracks and mountain trails to viewpoints, forts and villages that most visitors never reach. Between the Bay of Kotor, the Budva Riviera and Mount Lovćen, Montenegro packs sea, mountains and history into a very small area, so even a short buggy tour shows you a lot.
The Bay of Kotor is the heart of buggy safari in Montenegro. Ride the Vrmac ridge to Sveti Ilija for views of Kotor, Tivat and the open sea, join the Vrmac night tour above the illuminated Old Town, or explore Fort Goražda and the Austro-Hungarian forts of the Luštica peninsula, including a former Yugoslav navy submarine tunnel. Two tours run only with a professional driver: the Gornji Stoliv tour, with its very steep climb to a stone village opposite Perast, and the romantic buggy tour for couples, with a bottle of prosecco at a hidden viewpoint above Kotor Old Town.
Staying on the Budva Riviera? The 2-hour Budva buggy tour climbs into the hills above the coast to Ploče Beach and St. George Church, while the 4-hour Budva to Boka Bay safari crosses to the seaside village of Bigova, the Luštica peninsula and Fort Goražda above Kotor. Both tours use buggies for 2 to 4 people.
Above Cetinje, the old royal capital, short buggy rides of 1 to 1.5 hours lead through the forests of Lovćen, up to the Njegoš Mausoleum and to the village of Njeguši, famous for its smoked ham and cheese, with views reaching all the way to the Bay of Kotor.
A buggy is the relaxed, social choice: you sit side by side, wear a seat belt and steer like a car, which makes it ideal for couples, families and first-time riders. A quad (ATV) is more active and sporty. Most of our tours can be done with either vehicle, so you can also mix buggies and quads within one group.
To drive a buggy you must be at least 18 and hold a valid car (category B) driving licence. Passengers do not need one, and on the tours with a professional driver nobody in your group needs a licence. Every tour starts with a short introduction to the vehicle, with a local guide and helmets included. We also organise buggy safaris for larger groups, agencies and team-building events. Tours run all year round: spring and autumn are ideal, summer mornings and sunsets are the most comfortable, and clear winter days bring the sharpest views.
A guided off-road tour in a side-by-side buggy. A local guide leads you along old military roads, forest tracks and mountain trails to viewpoints, forts and villages above the coast, at a pace adjusted to the group.
We run buggy tours around Kotor and Boka Bay (Vrmac, Fort Goražda, Luštica, Gornji Stoliv, Perast), from Budva (Ploče Beach and Budva to Boka Bay) and on Lovćen above Cetinje.
The driver must be at least 18 and hold a valid car (category B) driving licence. Passengers do not need a licence. On the Gornji Stoliv and romantic buggy tours a professional driver drives, so no licence is needed.
Depending on the tour, buggies seat 2 to 4 people. Tell us your group size when booking and we will plan the right number of buggies.
It depends on the tour. On Lovćen a buggy costs €180, near Budva prices start at €105 for the driver plus €55 per passenger, and for the Kotor and Boka Bay tours the price is confirmed on request.
Choose a buggy if you want a relaxed ride side by side with a seat belt and a steering wheel, perfect for couples, families and beginners. Choose a quad if you want a more active, sporty ride.
Yes. We regularly host groups, agencies, team-building events and company outings, also outside the summer season. Send us your dates and group size.
Tours run all year round. Spring and autumn are ideal; in summer, morning and sunset departures are the most comfortable.
