The Lovćen Forest Off-Road Trail is the most adventurous of our short rides. It leaves the paved roads behind and follows forest tracks and old gravel roads on the slopes of Mount Lovćen, the black mountain that gave Montenegro its name.
Over about 20 km you ride through shaded beech and pine forest, across open karst clearings and along rocky sections where the quad or buggy really comes into its own. The air is fresh even in summer, and the forest is at its most beautiful in autumn colours or after fresh snow.
The tour takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes, so it fits easily into a day in Kotor, Budva or Cetinje. It suits first-time riders as well as experienced drivers, because your guide sets the pace for the group and every ride starts with a short introduction to the vehicle.
Times are approximate. The pace, the stops and the exact route are adjusted to the group and to the weather and trail conditions on the day.
