The Veliki Štuoc Summit Tour is for riders who want to go higher. From Žabljak, the route climbs on forest roads and gravel mountain tracks through the forest and then over open high pastures towards the summit of Veliki Štuoc.
At 2,104 m, Veliki Štuoc rises above the Žabljak plateau and is one of the best natural viewpoints in the area. From the top you look out over the jagged peaks of the Durmitor massif, the forested plateau around Žabljak and the valleys of the surrounding mountains.
The tour covers about 36 km and takes around 2 hours, with stops on the way up and at the top. It is more demanding than our short rides, but suitable for beginners who are comfortable spending two hours on the quad.
Times are approximate. The pace, the stops and the exact route are adjusted to the group and to the weather and trail conditions on the day.
