The Momčilov Grad Panorama Tour is the perfect introduction to quad riding on Durmitor. From Žabljak, at about 1,450 m one of the highest towns in the Balkans, the route leaves the asphalt behind and follows gravel roads and forest tracks through pine and spruce forest towards Momčilov grad.
Momčilov grad is a natural viewpoint above the plateau, and from the top the whole area opens up in front of you: the rooftops of Žabljak, the dark water of Black Lake surrounded by forest, the limestone peaks of the Durmitor massif and, in the distance, the edge of the Tara Canyon.
The ride covers about 23 km and takes 1 hour 15 to 30 minutes, with time for photos at the top. It suits first-time riders as well as experienced drivers, because your guide sets the pace for the group and every ride starts with a short introduction to the quad.
